Pete slams broadcasters and journalists for "play-acting" about their "roots" whether it's blue collar or cowboy, just so they can "sound off," with supposed life experience, on the news topic of the day. Pete feels many journalists, many in the upper tax brackets, haven't a clue how most of us live, making their opinions worthless.

Homeschooling is definitely a fascinating societal swirl for homeschooling families and for the rest of the world trying to take a peek. Zimbabwe is "in a war situation", says the general secretary of the main Zimbabwean opposition party, the MDC. At a news conference in Johannesburg, Tendai Biti claimed 10 people had been killed since disputed elections on 29 March and thousands had been displaced.
